Car crashes into house front door

Two people in the car were treated in hospital after the crash

A structural engineer will examine a house in Conwy after a car crashed through the front door of a north Wales house on Tuesday night.The accident took place in Llandudno Road in Rhos-on-Sea, and there were fears the building could collapse.
A man was freed from the two-storey block and taken to hospital, along with two people from the car.
The front porch of the house, which is on a bend, was demolished and windows were shattered.
Fire crews were called to the scene at around 2045 BST.
Part of the main Colwyn Bay to Llandudno road, between the Rhos Road traffic lights and the Ship Hotel, was cordoned off in case of a gas leak.
The driver, who was not seriously injured, was taken to Ysybty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan, for treatment.
The occupants of in the property were told to spend the night elsewhere until the structural examination was carried out. |
