BURGLARS made off with jewellery and cash after breaking into a Penrhyn Bay house while the occupants had “briefly” gone out.
North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after the burglary on Isaf Road between 1.55pm and 4.30pm on Monday, August 18.
Investigating Officer DC Andrew Skyner said: “Thieves gained at the rear of the property whilst the occupiers had briefly gone out.
“They made off with jewellery and cash.
“The offender(s) made off before occupiers returned although they were clearly shaken by the incident.
“If you were in the area at the time and saw any suspicious person or activity, or have any information about this break-in, we’d like to hear from you. Please phone 101 or Crimestoppers.”
North Wales Police said investigations into residential burglaries in the region are a priority for the force, and have appealed for help from communities.
DC Skyner added: “It is worth reminding all house holders to be vigilant at all times, always ensure your property is locked and secured and if you see any suspicious behaviour contact police immediately.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and quote reference RC14129512.
