North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Rhos on Sea recently.

Investigating officer DC Ruth Roberts at CID St Asaph said “Sometime between midnight on Saturday 29th and 9.30am the following morning, Sunday 30th June 2013 thieves entered a house in the Cranford Crescent area of Rhos on Sea and stolen a number of items including a Toshiba laptop and a quantity of cash.  The laptop contained photographs which are of great sentimental value to the family and they would dearly like them returned.   A black Toyota Auris was also stolen during the course of the burglary but later recovered in Trofarth near Abergele.”

DC Roberts added “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the Rhos on Sea area and may have seen any suspicious activity or has information about who responsible for this break in.   I am particularly interested in any sightings of a man seen acting suspiciously in the area at about 5.30am on Sunday 30th and of course anyone who may have seen the black Auris or the occupant(s).

The officer concluded, “ It is worth reminding all house holders to be vigilant at all times, always ensure your property is locked and secured and if they see any suspicious behaviour to let police know immediately.”

Anyone who has any information should contact police on 101 or call crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and quote reference RC13103159.
